Outdoor Furniture in Tasmania
Tasmania has the kind of natural beauty that coaxes you outdoors, but we all know its weather can be tough to handle. That’s why Outdoor Furniture Super Store supplies outdoor furniture specially tailored to meet Tasmania’s high weather demands. Our brand is renowned for its stylish but practical range of outdoor furniture, designed for versatility in the harsh Tassie environment.
We supply the most durable, weather-resistant furniture pieces, including dining settings and sofas and lounges. Our machine-washable outdoor sofa cushions, for example, boast well-ventilated material so they won’t deteriorate from the damp when the Antarctic rains blow through.

Outdoor Styling Tips with Amy Smyth
Fellow Tasmanian Amy Smyth is a crafty mother who blogs with Sarah at Move Fuel Love, a lifestyle blog dedicated to food, travel and running.
What piece of outdoor furniture is the centrepiece of your backyard?
I love my brazier/outdoor fire pot. It’s set up in the centre of our deck and brings us all together. My neighbours pop in for a catch up, we rug up with blankets and gloves and we’re together as a little community. We can be isolated living in the country and having a piece of news gives us a reason to invite people over in the cold and dark!
What is your preferred outdoor style?
Right now I’m loving modern country pieces. Think lots of warm coloured wood with rustic metal accents in clean design lines. My husband makes a lot of our outdoor pieces using mostly reclaimed timber, he’s such a clever clogs! He uses driftwood for coat hooks, rough sawmill pieces of western red cedar for racks. These materials give our pieces an individual identity whilst blending in with our natural surroundings.
What is your favourite way to entertain outdoors?
Entertaining outdoors in Tasmania can be a tricky proposition! Raining, windy, sunny, cool, hot… we get it all, usually before lunchtime. I enjoy inviting our friends and neighbours around for drinks and nibbles on our huge deck. We all pull up a chair, turn on the fairy lights, put some music on and get entertaining. The view from our home is stunning and a good sunset makes it an event to remember! To entertain like Amy, view Outdoor Furniture Superstore’s range of outdoor chairs here.
